Art Laughs

Join comedian and art historian Verity Babbs and three top stars of the UK comedy circuit for a riotous night of stand-up at RAMM. Art Laughs, which has delighted audiences at the National Gallery, Christie’s, Royal Museums Greenwich and the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, brings comedy into the gallery space as comedians create hilarious sets inspired by artworks from RAMM’s collection. Expect sharp wit, unexpected observations and plenty of laughs as the acts take inspiration from paintings in the Fine Art Gallery before diving deeper into the collection in a lively on-stage discussion. Funny, insightful and completely unique, this is a night at the museum that will have you looking at art in a whole new way. Information about accessibility is available on our Access page.
