What do you do when your neighbour goes completely wild?
Award-winning director James Dawson’s new documentary is set in the rolling hills of Devon, tells the story of two neighbouring farmers who share the same name but take radically different approaches to land use.
The film charts the two Derek’s (in equal parts turbulent, hilarious and moving) and also affirms the vital debate surrounding the future of rural Britain while encouraging conversation around how farming and nature restoration might work together. Ultimately, as tempers fray, wild animals escape, and hegerows are trimmed we ask – can the land be transformed.
