Paul Foot: The Future

Pioneering alt-comedy hero and star of Cats Does Countdown Paul Foot is back on tour with a brand new stand-up show. Remember when people were excited for the future? With visions of jetpacks, friendly robots wheeling around, and solar-powered bidets. Well, we don’t have visions like that anymore, do we? But the universe is not over. The light has not gone out. Here’s a candle in the dark. Contagious and whispering. And you can take it with you when you leave. As seen on Would I Lie To You?, Never Mind the Buzzcocks and 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Presented by Plosive Live. Winner: (ISH) Edinburgh Comedy Awards 2026 – Best Show Co-Winner ‘Funnier and more daring than I’ve ever seen him… [has] the audience laughing so hard they’re about to leave their bodies’ ★★★★★ Chortle ‘A stand-up set that leads us into the ineffable, and dares to leave us there’ ★★★★ Guardian ‘A brilliant show that will make you laugh like a drain…Foot has actually surpassed his own recent high standards.’ ★★★★★ Beyond The Joke
