About this event
Sh!t-faced Shakespeare® Macbeth
Make ours a Double-Double because the smash-hit, internationally acclaimed, inexplicably award-winning, multi-sell-out drunken debacle is back! And this time: It’s Scottish.
Sh!t-faced Shakespeare swaps their beers for Buckfast as they bring the bloodily booze-filled Scottish tragedy ‘Macbeth’ to a theatre near you! Expect Wasted Weird Sisters, Drunken King Duncans, floating Jägers and enough Damned Shots to sterilise a brewery floor. This is ‘The Scottish Play’ like you’ve never seen before, or ever will again.
Featuring a revolving cast of genuinely inebriated performers, no two nights are ever the same. Pull on your kilt, dust down your bagpipes, and raise a can of Bard Seltzer to Shakespeare at its most debauched. What could possibly go wrong?
Something WKD this way comes…
Warning: Sh!t-faced Shakespeare® may feature foul language, nudity, disemboweled limbs, and, very occasionally, some actual lines of Shakespeare.
"Go because you enjoy Shakespeare, go because you love intoxicated revelry, or go for the magical meeting of the two." BROADWAY BABY
"Simply no better way to liven up the Bard!" WEST END WILMA
"If you’re looking to laugh yourself all the way to an incontinence issue, you’re in the right place" LONDON ECONOMIC
“Despite what some po-faced critics may have told you, this is Shakespeare as Shakespeare intended it.” THE SPECTATOR
