Sophie Duker: Hot Beef Injection

Taskmaster Champion, Edinburgh Comedy Award Best Newcomer Nominee and retired sugar daughter Sophie Duker is back with a brand-new 2027 stand-up tour, ‘Hot Beef Injection’. In her latest hour, Sophie dares to get both sexy and political, reflecting on hypermasculinity, heavy-handed handymen and that old chestnut, Would You Rather: ‘Man or Bear?’. Hot Beef Injection reckons with the primal fear driving Duker’s distrust of heterosexualhe/hims, and out of a challenging comedy club encounter, a new question emerges: what would she say if she spoke to men, instead of shutting them out? ‘Obscenely good… Charisma to burn’ Rolling Stone ‘Extremely funny’ ★★★★ Scotsman ‘Truly one of the best comedians around’ ★★★★ DIVA ‘On sparkling form… a smart, purposeful and very funny hour… the audience is entirely under her spell… Duker’s presence is all good-time joy and delight, and this is a show so neatly crafted and intelligent’ ★★★★ The Guardian ‘On the best form of her career, Duker owns the stage with charm and assurance’ ★★★★ Ashley Davies, The Scotsman ‘A comedic powerhouse’ ★★★★ The Skinny ‘Duker is really very good at this. Her comedy is pointed, but it’s also generous and bawdy… Duker is on top of her game.’ ★★★★ The Herald ‘A fresh and charming voice… a punchy hit… quick-wit… mid the hilarity, Duker offers us some gems of wisdom; we’re lucky to have them, and the laughs’ ★★★★ Fest ‘Fierce and fun hour’ ★★★★ The List ‘Playfully toying with the male ego… Duker is wittily flip’ ★★★★ Chortle VENUE: EXETER PHOENIX, AUDITORIUM
