A have-a-go night of poetry, comedy, philosophy, theatre and singer-songwriting, with five minutes for each performer, hosted by spoken word artist Tim King. For anyone who wants to try new material in a supportive room.

About this event
Taking the Mic returns for another evening of have-a-go magic, hosted by spoken word artist and erstwhile Bard of Exeter Tim King.
Poetry is the mainstay of our show but we also welcome comedy, philosophy, theatrical acts and singer-songwriters. Every performer gets a five minute slot to showcase their talent.
