About this event
South West Women’s Art Group (SWWAG) presents works made from at least 70% re-used, recycled & reclaimed materials.
This exhibition is designed to give people ideas about creating art from items they might have around the house – in a cupboard or drawer – rather than always having to buy something.
Paint over an old canvas; use the back of a cereal box instead of buying cardboard; re-purpose something that somebody else has thrown/given away.
ENJOY the process – play with ideas – create what you want without a care in the world – as long as you like the end results – that’s all that matters.
“When Life Gives You Recycling Make Art” – you don’t need an art degree – all you need is some glue/scissors and space to create/play.
Join a group – ask for advice – check out the internet for ideas.
